Fly by post (I'm in the middle of packing to travel tomorrow but I will have internet while I'm away.)

1. Artist sign ups close this weekend, more like early morning in my timezone so there's still time to sneak in.

2. The schedule, is anyone going to be ready to start posting in September? Should I push back to have posting just in October? *mod slinks off muttering "nope not anywhere near finished"* ;)

3. StargateNow_EU are hosting a one episode per day rewatch and discussion and it covers all of the canons with the aim of finishing in time for the SG1's 25th aniversary next summer. Details with the hashtags they want to see on posts.

4. If any of you are doing rewatches or want to discuss an episode or several, then go right ahead :) I'm still on season 3 of mine that I started last summer and my notes are a mess.

I have just finished the first draft of the story, chocking in at just under 35K, but probably around 40K by the time I'm finished, so I should be good to post in September. Yaaaaaaaaay. It's been a real slog getting it out.

I was just talking about deadlines with Melagan for this and you have a reasonably decent window for posting as it is... I'd say leave it and see what happens about September 1... we should do a mandatory check in with authors about then with a 'when do you think you'll be ready to post?' question... you'll have a better feel at that point.

To be honest, mine also won't probably be ready until mid-to-late September... I've signed up for a couple too many things and need to get something else done before this fit... although that one is at least started. I have a reasonable idea for this fic, but need a 'hook' that I haven't found as yet... but once I get writing, it should be okay.

Yeah I'm keeping the posting for starting in September. There'll be a mandatory check-in for everyone just before posting is due to start.

I've just done a post with all of the various upcoming things, I think I covered everything on it.

Mine likely won't be ready until October I'm so slow. I haven't signed up for a lot of things but I have been dealing with some RL stuff that's derailed me a bit. I keep adding more things to my outline and I need to scale it back in some places.
