Check ins and discussions

A few people indicated that having check in and discussion posts would be useful and also help to build community in general. What I'm proposing is that if one or two people (or more) would like to help out with those posts then that would be great.

In theory, the posts should take maybe half an hour or so to put together and then the posts go up at least once a month.

For an example: a check in post could go up in the first week of a month and a discussion post could go up in the third week of the month or whatever works for you and your own commitments elsewhere.

If you'd like to help out with either of these then let me know and I'll arrange posting access. Also makes sense to have more than one person posting to a community.

For the monthly check in, are you looking for something like InkingItOut does? A "tell me how it's going" with maybe a bonus questions maybe like "tell me about something you were stuck on and how you fixed it"? And then a different bonus question every month, which would be more targeted toward the deadline?

For that, I could do the monthly check-in... first weekend of the month (but check in any time) with the last couple as a monthly 'wellness' check to make sure about participation.

I can do that! It won't be a bazillion folk to reply to, I suspect... Let me know!

I left you a rather lengthy email... if that's too overwhelming (and I sympathize), don't feel like you have to answer it in one go... do it in pieces as you can!

Are check-ins happening? Just to make sure I haven't missed something.
